I walked in with so much anxiety about this appointment i wanted to cry, but Dr. Bell helped me through my appt one step at a time. She had a really calm tone, she was professional and answered every question i had completely and thoroughly (no matter how silly), she reminded me that i was doing well, she let me take breaks when i needed to, and she was patient with me, she didnt make me feel small or crappy, she was validating and reassuring. Everyone there was quick and thorough and very nice.

I recently had a full service eye exam, prescription modification and got new transitions glasses and sun glasses. Everyone at Heimstra is professional, kind, and treated me with respect and patience. The entire experience met my needs, helped me see more clearly and was painless from start to finish.

I felt confident in the exam, as well as with the technician\'s follow-up & billing. I am being referred to a specialist. When I had questions about my diagnosis, their attitude was overwhelmingly customer-centric. I highly recommend this optician.

My experience with Hiemstra Optical was wonderful. During my exam they found that my cataract replacements were in need of a Lazer repair. they immediately got on the phone and found an office that would take me that very afternoon! The care and concern they showed me at Hiemstra was amazing!

I had a great experience. The optometrist was cordial and clear without using any big words and answered every question I had she was very knowledgeable, and it made me confident that I was getting the best care for my eyes as possible.

I have always loved Hiemstras. Everyone seems to be so friendly and helpful. I always go to.the Portage location but they were booked too far out. First time in Plainwell and I am definitely making this my location.
